Networking Report: Past, Present, And Essay

The U.S. is often described as a more 'low context' nation vs. A 'high context' culture like my native Turkey. There is less emphasis on socialization and familiarity in business, and more upon facts, figures, and the 'bottom line.' This will increase my network of future opportunities, and also better enable me to be more flexible in the ways which I interact with persons who are not of my culture in the future, when doing business internationally. I have gained confidence personally, in my social command of spoken English as well as my ability to express myself in prose, which will also contribute in an invaluable way to my ability to engage in networking, given the extent to which English is the international language of business.
